Celebration Saturday 13^th December, 7pm

UWIC, Landaff Campus, Western Avenue, Cardiff

To celebrate the success of the first Hands on Science Festival we would like to invite you to join us…

Bury Port Band will perform Holst’s The Planets Suite with narration on each of the planets from

Professor Mark Brake from the University of Glamorgan.

The concert will be accompanied by a lighting and visual display developed by University of

Glamorgan Live Event Technology students.

This event is free and suitable for all ages.

Science Cafe 4th August Jul 28, 2009 Science Cafe welcomes families to their second family workshop looking at fossis large and small on Tuesday 4th August. The session will be held from 6.30pm at The Gate art centre, Keppoch Street, Cardiff. All ages welsome - come and look at giant fossils and tiny ones through a microscope! Free Entry. The Planets Jul 28, 2009 Last Saturday, July 25th - saw the performance of a free concert celebrating the Apollo Moon landings and the International Year of Astronomy at the National Museum, Cardiff following on from the Astronomy Festival which took place during the day.
