Hands on Science present 5 local comedians and compere Mark Olver.

Dan Mitchell - "Natural funny bones"-Steve Bennett, Chortle

Henry Widdicombe - 'Henry is a grocery-based comedian peddling his wares in South Wales and borders.'

Dean Burnett - 'the only Welsh Neuroscientist comedian on the circuit...as far as he knows.

Dave Steele - 'His favourite topics include pet psychics, alien cattle rustling and the strange world of science and medicine.'

Helen Keen - Helen has written for the last two series of BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and various Channel 4 TV shows including The Friday Night Project.

Compare: Mark Olver - Warm-up guy for Deal or No Deal! 'Popular compare and headliner in clubs all over the country, Mark is a regular with some of the biggest names in comedy including Jongleurs and The Glee club.'

Science Cafe 4th August Jul 28, 2009 Science Cafe welcomes families to their second family workshop looking at fossis large and small on Tuesday 4th August. The session will be held from 6.30pm at The Gate art centre, Keppoch Street, Cardiff. All ages welsome - come and look at giant fossils and tiny ones through a microscope! Free Entry. The Planets Jul 28, 2009 Last Saturday, July 25th - saw the performance of a free concert celebrating the Apollo Moon landings and the International Year of Astronomy at the National Museum, Cardiff following on from the Astronomy Festival which took place during the day.
