'The Science of Chocolate' @ Wrexham Science Festival

'The Science of Chocolate'

Hands on Science and Ray Newberry from the University of Wales Institue, Cardiff  (UWIC) will be travelling to Wrexham for the 'Sciencetriffic' Science Fun Day on March 31st as part of Wrexham Science Festival.

The workshop is aimed at showing how science is involved in the food industry.  Taking a product that most people like and discovering what makes European, British and American chocolate taste so different.  We will discover how chocolate arrived in the UK and how Science & Technology over the centuries have changed the product to suit the modern palette and of course get to sample what we make.

This is a public event held at the NEWI campus and so come along and join in with the range of 'hands on' science activities!
