Year 11 Scince Exams Looming

Year 11 Science students across Wales will be cramming for their exams this weekend!

Students from Daniel James Community School, Treboeth, Swansea had a helping hand on Wednesday with Science lecturers from Swansea College, both students and lecturers giving up a day of their half-term holiday.

The South West Wales Reaching Wider Partnership based at Swasea University organised lecturers from the college to run revision sessions for Year 11 pupils in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They were suppied with revision booklets and past paers and given support in any areas they felt they were not confident in.

Commnet from the students after the sessions were very positive:

I thought the day was 'very good'.
I gained 'more detailed information about certain aspects of science'.
I learnt 'how to answer the exam questions better'.

All the pupils who attended were very greatful to the tutors help and went away feeeling alot more confident about their coming exams!
